Live Closed Captioning

Live captioning is all about the live captioner. Their years of experience, skill, cool head under pressure and their nimble fingers. And most of all a ear-head-hand coordination. You have to be made of some special stuff to be able to caption live, at the rate of speech — 220 words per minute. It takes a super human skill to process all the information and type it out accurately, non-stop.
Which is why our vetting process to choose a live captioner is long and arduous. We make sure every captioner we hire is certified by various authorities and have at least 10 years of experience with live captioning before we give them one of our shows to caption.  And the result? The best live captioning money can buy!

Spanish Language Closed Captioning

We believe in closed captioning every word counts. That is why we make it certain that every line, every word, every sound effect, every lyric is edited and then reedited to perfection.
This is what we call ‘Broadcast Quality’ closed captioning.

Subtitling Movies and Video

Subtitling movies wouldn’t be necessary if everyone spoke only one language! (And that would be so horrible!)

Languages make our world so much more dynamic. Each language has its own beauty and unique expression.

Even though reading subtitles is a bit of pain in the ass, and it takes your eyes off the character to the subtitles below on the screen, they open up a world of different languages and cultures, enriching our human experience.

Our translators are storytellers

Working with some of the best trained linguists in almost every spoken language in the world, we learned a very strange thing — that in translating one language to another, experience did not matter as much as proper training did right off the bat.

Each of our translation goes through a exhausting editing process. Once a translator is done with their job, our certified and experienced editors go through the entire translation with the video to ensure each translation has captured the true meaning of each sentence.

We work only with certified translators in over 20 languages.

20 languages may not sound like much but we did not want to spread ourselves too thin.

When you work with the best translators in the world, it can get very difficult to find and retain them.

So our strategy was to work with fewer languages but the best translators. And it has paid off over the years looking at our very satisfied clients.

Our main languages:

English <> Spanish LAS

English <> SpanishEU

English <> Italian

English <> German

English <> French

English <> Canadian French

English <> Mandarin (simplified)

English <> Mandarin (traditional)

English <> Japanese

English <> Thai

English <> Tagalog

English <> Russian

English <> Korean

English <> Portuguese
