We live close by the trail and typically use the White River Greenway to connect to the Cardinal. Now I am not an avid road cyclist, but compared to other trails I've seen this one is superb. If you ride a long wheel base recumbant, or a tandem, the gates blocking access at many of the road crossings are a real pain.
